Best Eye Wrinkle Cream

Could it be a bad sign when an eye cream causes a burning sensation when first applying it or is this normal?

Wrinkle Cream Question :

I have posted questions like these on here before as I am trying out different ****** products and my face seems to be somewhat sensitive to some ingredients in a lot of them. The latest product I am trying is Neutrogena Anti-Oxidant Age Reverse Eye Cream and when I first apply it, I feel a burning sensation, but it doesn’t last long and it doesn’t make my skin red or irritated looking. It just doesn’t seem like it should do this. Is there something better out there for people like me who have this problem? I am over 40 but have very good skin with no wrinkles or blemishes. I am intrigues by products that promise to keep your skin youthful looking but it’s ironic that these are usually the products that irritate my skin.

It is pretty normal it just means your eyes are very dry. try applying it more often.

You skin has probably stayed young exactly because you have kept chemicals off it, so maybe don’t start now.

you could be alergic to the retin a or the other ingredients that are in it that make your skin “young” consult your dotor about the products your using and let him know that it does this to your eyes.

i wouldnt use it, it just dosent seem right especially around the eye area. try apricot kernel oil. apply it lightly at night. i think that there is no need for all the added extras in creams (like petroleum oil!), and plant oils absorb better.

I believe that a cream can not reverse the signs of aging; a lot of it has to do with genes, and how we have maintained our diet, our life style and staying out of sun.

I have the same problems with a lot of the “beauty” products offering “miracles”, especially the ones with sun screens in them. For me I have found the Olay brand is great for my skin. I too am over 40 and find either I have a reaction to “anti-age” products or they leave my skin looking too shiny.

Just because something doesn’t cost the earth, doesn’t mean it isn’t a good product.
