Is it okay for a 14 year old to use anti-oxidant anti-aging cream?

Wrinkle Cream Question :

My sister just improved her grades by a whole lot, and I want to give her a little reward on behalf of our dad. She tans a lot (although I tell her not to), and I’m worried for her skin! She’s already got a few eye wrinkles, no crow’s feet yet (thank god…) Anyway, would it be okay if I bought her a few antioxidant anti-aging night creams? (like Clinique Super Anti-Oxidant Night Cream and maybe her first jar of La Mer…)
We both live in cities all year, so it’s pretty polluted as well…

no i wouldn’t. I’ll buy her a tanning cream that is good for your skin.

No it’s ridiculous, if she’s really so skin conscious tell her to just use fake tan. She shouldn’t have that crap at 14yrs old.

The problem with anti aging creams is they’re actually too rich for people unde about 25, and in effect, the creams don’t actually do anything until around this age. I’m not sure why. My friend uses anti-aging cream and it does nothing for her because she’s only 15.

I don’t think it will hurt her.

Everyone could use a little anti-oxidant power!

If you are worried have her test it on a small bit of skin first before using it all over her face. If she has an adverse reaction, discontinue use.

i don’t see why anyone would want to use a anti wrinkle cream at 14. i don’t think it would do any harm. tell her that she HAS wrinkles and that she is getting them. maybe she’ll stop tanning. tanning is not healthy for te skin it breaks down the collagen in th skin. so she is gonna be getting a lot of wrinkles in her 20’s because of it. you should tell her. Tanning can be a bad habit. as for the wrinkles its her body and she’s the one ruining it. i’d get her the cream to show her what the tanning is doing to her skin. maybe she’ll realize in a year or so what she has done to her skin.

NO, you shouldnt use anti aging cream of ANY kind, it should only EVER be used by people 40+ (even then only if they have wrinkles) as it will make you sisters eyes wrinkle an when she stops using it, it will go even more wrinkled and i’m sure you oth dont want that, just use moisturizer, buy her a good one even a moisturizing eye cream thats not anti-aging, clinique do some and no7 but dont get her A.A cream

a better alternative to anti-age creams are vitamin e lotions and a citrus wrap. These you can get at almost any store… and they don’t cost nearly as much. I believe your sister should see a dermatologist to assess the damage that she has done to her skin though. He can give her the run down of taking care of her skin better than any commercial or word of mouth.

First you should tell her to stop TANNING! And if she doesnt then hand her the ani-aging cream and that should stop her cold in her tracks.

But the thing about anti-aging cream is that it helps prevent them also. So when your sis is in her old age and she has been using it when she is 14 she’ll look young
