Lemon juice is not going to do it. Do an Answers Search and you will find that it it has had very little positive effect. Nothing that you simply apply to circles is going to have any significant benefit. The most effective treatment has been the use of natural oils. Choose one that suits your skin. Tighten skin/muscles in eye area - do by dropping jaw and tensing muscles just under eye and then do a firm but still gentle stroking with fingers from nose to outer eye. Repeat 5 or 6 times then immediately remove excess oil with a moistened tissue to avoid getting into eye. After day 3 do a total of 9 strokes. You will see an improvement in a about a couple of days. Treatment has been tried by users on Answers and they are happy with the results. See my many Best Answers and appreciative comments.

It may be a bit harsh on your skin, just because the Vitamin C is so strong... But if you try to mix it with Tomato Juice, and then delute it with a little water, it will work wonders!

But when I don't feel like being so harsh on my skin, I do this:

Give them the washcloth treatment. Applying a cold compress helps constrict blood vessels and turns tissue white, so the 'darkness' doesn't show as much. I think that regularly applying a washcloth wrung out in cold water for 10 to 15 minutes, or longer should help.

Hope that my advice was a little helpful! :)
Here's a site that I refer to for more:

Good question. I wonder how often you're supposed to do it, also. Daily?

no way! it helps bring out the vitamin c in your skin, making the colour pigments go away a little, creating a more natural skin tone for under your eyes.

with love, dahling.

ps. it really does work! also, try applying your foundation or coverup under your eyes. it also works well :)
